This is a service announcement in the later half of february AD will commence operation phoenix. This is when pein will have the most free time and he can finally finish the site. New features will include a better main site with full forum intergration, this will come standard with its own gallery and chat box feature which means the forums chat box will disappear. I will have a help desk for technical issues like anime not showing in the new vbtube which will be set to let you upload your own flash, wmv, or avi files to the site. Also you will be able to comment you the vidoes and even be able to upload images to vbtube aswell. The site and forum will both be using seo techniques and software so more membeers can find the site. Also you will begin to see info pages on naruto, bleach and souleater. From this point on the count down to rebirth will begin. I will keep you informedon the version choice based off of the mod selection note that if i use 3.8.0 if its stabel we may have diffrent mods due to incompatability but rest asure I`ll work on porting th mods to 3.8.0 since some of them are my mods that i made.
This is a service announcement to all staff and members of anime-dreamz.com.
The site is not officially released for public membership. In the future there will be huge changes and turn arounds to the site. What does this all mean? It means that it’s a beta site for now till I have the time to fully finish the site. This means that in February when the site is ready for a stable release and my dang project is due there may or may not be a new install of the forum software. What are the new changes you ask? I will be buying subdreamer which is a paid version of a CMS which comes with a gallery, downloads mod, and full forum integration. What and why? What it is is a better CMS system for the main site that fully integrates with vbulletin and comes with several plugins that are made for which means the maker of the software has released it and it works without flaws. Why a new system, is simple it makes my job easier and did I mention I`m footing the bill for all of this? I will install vbulletin 3.7.3.SP 1 and will install all the mods before I upgrade to 3.7.4 or 3.8.0 if there’s a stable version by then. Why the new stuff so late in the game? Simple school and work have me tied to a computer and I don’t really have time to do anything else and I promised new stuff if Obama won the election so it my apperception to the fans of anime. New features are gonna be what? Well as of now besides a new CMS and forum install/integration I will add vbtuebpro BR(branding free) which allows me to let you the members upload videos to the site such as amv`s or user videos all anime will be uploaded there in three pieces since I can only upload 30MB at a time. What is it you ask, its my very own youtube software for vbulletin with a youtube browser so you can actually pic which videos you wont to see. This works for all of the video systems. Next an new user gallery for members to upload images to. This will be called photopro another vbulletin add on which is a much better improvement to photoplog lite which was free. Also the arcade will be coming back with of course more games. I will also be using vB SEO to search engine optimize my forum so members can find the site on google. There will also be an add on of rules so members can find out the rules and must except them to be able to post in the forum. The site will remain open and I will not be on very much until February which means my mods and co-admin will run the site for me while I`m gone. Everything will still be here up until the deadline to add the fully built version to the site note this will be during the end of February and will last for 3 days so the site will be down for 3 days and you will have to re-do everything you`ve already done on the beta site. Why a beta site, it wasn’t planned to be beta but with me having to buy adobe pack which is $800 plus the $130 for vbtube the $80 for photopost pro the $100 for subdreamer(license expired last year ) and the $150 for vbSEO that’s a lot on my wallet at one time and add the cost of tuition and books to that and it’s a pretty penny. Welcome to Anime-DreamzThis site is fairly new and it will be up with in the next few days or so. I`m very sorry to al my old members for all the issues I had to switch to an older version of joomla. The site is for all the info and the forum is for all the fun if your an artist and would like to have a public album use the gallery its not linked to the main site or forum so a new registration is required. Hope you enjoy your stya and the site will be up fully soon, I`m working it on the fly for now. |
